Our mission: Trust

“Westward” represents the persistence, self-reliance, and mutual respect that brought the first settlers west to Colorado. As a company we are dedicated to these values as we build trust and consumer satisfaction.

The owner of the company, Mark Duncan, grew up on the East Coast where he learning these values sailing the Atlantic Ocean with his grandfather. Mark went on to join the Marines where he was deployed to Iraq among other countries. He later earned a college degree from the University of Arizona and an advanced degree in geophysics from the University of Texas. Mark has nearly ten years experience in the blinds and window covering business. He has two sons and is dedicated to family and community. He is also an accomplished artist. His grandfather’s boat was named “Eastward.” Mark named this company “Westward” to represent the same enduring values he learned during his early years and carried with him as he moved west to Colorado.
